Join us at the Spoon for a Fermentation Workshop on Monday, Oct. 28th from 5-8pm.
At this hands-on workshop we will learn about the ancient fermentation technique of preserving vegetables and increasing flavour and health-giving properties, while chopping and brining local ingredients.
Join Em, from the Spoon as they teach us the process of making sauerkraut with locally-grown cabbage. Folks from SAFFS will be share a delicious medicinal recipe of fermented garlic in Trent Apiary honey.
Come on out to learn some new kitchen skills and make some yummy food! Each participant will go home with a jar of each creation.
Please bring two 500 ml jars with you. Email me if you need us to provide one.
