RUN A WORKSHOP AT THE SPOON!

Running a workshop at the Seasoned Spoon is a great way to engage with the Trent and Peterborough/Nogojiwanong community.

Educational programming plays an important part in our organization, both as a student-run cooperative café and as a central tenet of our mandate. We invite students and community members to explore the collaborative and skill-building potential of running workshops in a supported environment. Share your skills, passions, cultures, and cuisine with the community at the Spoon.

In addition to workshops, there are also other ways to collaborate with us. We are open to partnering on community meals, and you can also book the Spoon space to host and run your own events.

Workshops we have had in the past include fermenting vegetables, making sourdough bread and bagels, dumplings, African Caribbean cuisines, Latin American cuisine, cooking on a budget, gardening, sprouting, and seed saving. We are always open to new ideas and would love to hear what inspires you!

We can provide ingredients, cooking equipment, and promotion for the event, and we look forward to hearing from you.
