FACILITATE A WORKSHOP

Educational programming plays an important part in our organization, both as a student-run cooperative cafe and as a central tenet of our mandate. We invite students and community members to explore the collaborative and skill-building potential of facilitating workshops and reflect on what they are most inspired to share.

Examples of workshops we have had facilitated in the past include; fermentation, sourdough and bagel baking, dumpling and scallion pancake making, gardening, and green living skills. Speaker and community roundtable participants have discussed food sovereignty, gender inequality, divestment from fossil fuels, and white veganism. Virtual and in-person programming supports are available.

Email spoonvolunteers@gmail.com to propose a workshop, or for more information.
